Ünnepnap volt, s kivételesen jó időt is jósoltak, így hajnalban bedobtuk a mászócuccot a kocsiba, s már indultunk is Alpstein felé, Svájcba.

Ahogy az elmúlt években többször is, idén is az Excelsioros csapattal tartottunk a Bad Schandau környéki homokkő tornyokra.
A 3,5 nap alatt több szép s több kevésbé biztosítható utat másztunk.

We would like to thank all who encouraged and supported us in the last weeks. We had a great adventure in the Atacama desert, where we climbed our first 6000m-peak, the 6145 m high Medusa.
Now we are back and working on telling the story.

Eszter and Gabi climbed their firts mountain peak over 6000m, which is the 6149 m high Medusa mountain by the chilean border.

After climbing the Kilimandjaro we started planning our next tour. We choose the Andes and the region Puna de Atamaca, because it is remote and not so popular. The climate is dry but the weather can be tricky. In the region one can climb a lot of 5 or 6 thousand meter high peaks. We could only find old maps and a few descriptions of the road ahead. There are no hüttes or marked trails. We will carry our own food for the whole tour. We might not even see a living soul. What more could we ask for? 🙂 We will try to stay in contact and send some infos if it is possible.
